Core Fighters, Transform and block-up!!
Mentioned in the previous post, we will make a quick size comparison between the two core fighters and have a look at their transformation process.
Comparison between the two core fighter-II. As you can see, the CFII is way slimmer than the Fb. I understand that the CFII design is for it to be agile but the design makes it looks anorexic and out of proportion.
With the Core Fighter II and Core Fighter II-Fb completed, let's do a quick transformation comparison between the two.
[Core Fighter II]
Step 1: Fold down the tails and rotate the beam sabers up
Step 2: Tuck in the wings.
*Note: Make sure the beam sabers are to the side of the Core Fighter II.
The manual instructs you to pull out the yellow vents on the Core Fighter II and inter-swap them.
When I tried doing, one of the vents did not want to come out. After trying a hours and hours (actually it is only a few minutes) trying to get it out, I said to myself that it is not worth the trouble so I assembled it back into their original position.
The next step is to fold the cockpit and the back portion down and you have the core block for Zephyranthes.
360° of the core block
[Core Fighter II-Fb]
Step 1: Rotate the entire beam saber handles up
Step 1.2: Pull out the bottom white piece
Step 2: Fold the nozzle down and flip up the beam saber handles
Step 4: Pull out the 'bells'...
...and rotate them downwards.
Make sure the tabs (red circle) are aligned and fits into the holes (green circle).
Step 6: Fold the 'bells' back and viola!. No pictures were taken for step 6.
The transformation for the Fb Core Block a little bit more complex because of the 'bells'. A little comparison between the two core blocks:

Transformation for both Core Fighter II's are effortless. Everything moves and locks in place as it should. All I can say is that both core blocks looks good in their own way. They seem to be in the correct size. If I have to name something negative it will be the swapping of vents on the Core Fighter II. It is hard to remove and swap them because they are small and I have big giant fingers.
Next post will be working on the Zephyranthes's lower part of the body.
