Updates (17)

A little update on what's happening in my life

Hello everyone and I apologise for not updating this blog regularly. Mentioned in this post, this year will be a very busy year for me, I have completed my training in Thailand and a week after that the SHO course started. That was in the beginning of May.

In the middle of May, my mum had to go overseas for a month thus I was left with taking care of her pets for an entire month. I had to get up an hour earlier to go over to her place before going to work and going over there again after work before going back home to do my own chores. All I can say is that I'm glad it is over and it was the longest month in my life. Time really seem to pass at an extremely slow pace.

I'm delaying the diving course until after the SHO which would be after August. The new workplace is good but there are lots of things to do before audit. The best new I've had since transferring is that  my audit has been postponed to July. This gives me some extra time to prepare.

Neo Zeong Official photos

Here are some photos of the HG Neo Zeong. From the looks of the photos, this thing is huge. Wonder how long it would take an average gunplaer to complete this kit. Would be looking out for WIPs of this kits.

Neo Zeong update

Since the last post about the Neo Zeong's effect parts and the Neo Zeong itself, there are no other photos or updates about this kit until recently. Ban Dai released some photos of the box with a model carrying it. Either the model is short or the size is really huge.
Neo Zeong box

By the look at the size of the box, it seems bigger than the Perfect Grade 00 Raiser Gundam or the PG GP 01. It is also bigger than the HG Dendroduim box. She seems to have a hard time carrying the box and it should be heavy too. One thing I have to admit is that it has a good artwork. More photos of the artwork of the box.

Loot #3

Got these today:

Got 2 Exias instead of one. Actually only planned to get one but when the shop called to inform that RG Exia has arrived, they asked if I was interested in the Exia Repair pack as well. Since this is a P-Bandai Online Hobby Shop Exclusive item, I said yes because I did not pre-order it when it was open. I guess they ordered extra for members like me who missed the pre-order date. After the call, was thinking if I should get another Exia to have is displayed as Exia Repair. Called the shop and asked if they have another Exia to reserve for me. The rest as they say is history.

HGUC 1/144 Neo Zeong

Recently in the 53rd Shizuoka hobby show in Japan, they displayed the HGUC 1/144 Neo Zeong. Just saw the pre-order for this beast and it blew my mind. The model cost MYR 1370. For that price, I can buy a few MGs, HGs or even consider investing in another PG. One thing I have to admit, the model is huge. Total height is 860mm.

Daban HG Sinanju - WIP 2

Didn't manage to separate the parts into their individual boxes. Instead of doing tht I finished the chest part for the Sinanju and coated it with top coat. After spraying top coat the paint can still be chipped off. Instead of doing what I normally do for most of the models, I decided to just complete the chest area to reduce the chance of having any more paint chipping off in future.

Daban HG Sinanju - WIP 1

Started working on the Daban Sinanju. Was suppose to separate the parts into individual boxes. Only managed to separate the chest area before I became itchy and started the painting process.

Before I decided to start this project, I read on the net that a few people said they had eye problems after painting the by Sinanju. I thought to myself it can't be that bad but changed my mind after I saw the parts. The parts are so small and I was wondering if I should use the stickers instead. I was also considering to use the metallic gold paint marker but didn't have the correct paint brush size.
