WOW!! That's huge
First off I would like to apologise for the hiatus from this blog for so long. Mentioned in the previous post that I got a new job and can't seem to find either the time or mood to do any model kits or bricks building until the recent Christmas break (I have been riding a lot but just around the little island). I went to the 'toy room' and took this st out. It is the Decool's version of The Batmobile Ultimate Collectors Edition from Lego but at a cheaper price.
Without anymore delays, let's get on with the built.
The box:
The 4 sides of the box
Front of the box. The front of the box has a smaller picture of the completed Batmobile with the dimensions so we know how much space is required at the display area
Dimension of the completed Batmobile. Length: 48cm, Height: 15cm, Width: 16cm
Back of the box shows all the functions of the Batmobile
Let's start from the back and work our way to the front. First off are the rotating flames at the back (top small image), the door to the cockpit can be lifted up (middle image) and the last image is of the details at the side of the car
The exposed engines are able to rotate when the Batmobile moves
Bat ram(?) at the front can be lifted up to reveal the turbines underneath
The entire build it split into 4 smaller boxes so it is more manageable I guess
Instruction booklet:
Total of 86 steps to complete the entire build
Box 1:
Has 4 smaller packets and the instruction booklet
The instruction states the box number at the top so we know which box to use
The build for the first box is split into 2 different sections which is the rear and......
...and the second section is the front
Front and rear of the build
Box 1 ends with the connection pieces of both sections
Box 2:
Contains 4 separate packets
Most of the steps are just adding pieces on to the main frame of the Batmobile
First gear build and more to come
The gear is for steering wheel to move the Bat logo at the front of the Batmobile up and down
This is another gear build for the rotating flames. The video on the right shows how the mechanism works when the wheel is turned
End of Box 2 build
That's the end for the first part of the WIP. What I can tell so far is that this is going to be huge build and it will also be very heavy. Stay tune for the second part.
