New online shop...

...new to me anyways

If any of you are in Malaysia and looking for a cheap plamo kit (either original or 3rd party), you might want to consider Gundoom. Found out about this shop last year but did not pay much attention to it since I just re-booted this hobby.

The shop is based in Johor and they only does online sales. The shop has a lot of variety and the prices are lower than other shops (online and retail). The only thing you might want to take into consideration when ordering are the shipping cost.

How cheap is cheap? We take MG Sazabi Ver. Ka kit for comparison. Here are some of the price list of some hobby shops available in Malaysia:

Mechanical Parts x MG 1/100 Sazabi Ver.Ka

Upgrades !!

This is the mechanical parts upgrade for Sazabi Ver. Ka. It has a total of 16 metal parts upgrade. Ordered this together with the Sazabi Ver. Ka. Can't wait to see the parts and if it looks nice, will consider getting the metal upgrades for Gouf and Zaku II. Also might get the Sinanju metal parts when I get the MG Sinanju.

Mechanicore 1/100 model kit RX-105 Ξ "xi" Gundam

Something New To Consider

This is a 3rd party company which makes Gundam models. The price is not as cheap as Daban, TT Hongli, Gao Gao etc.. From my limited knowledge, the other 3rd party company just replicates the MS from Ban Dai but not for Mechanicore. From what I can see from the images, they are more detailed and they make their own gundams like the above mentioned.

The 2nd pre-order is now open and it comes with Zinc Alloy V-fin, A1 Size poster and a special packing box with a random serial number (#1501 - #3500). Below are a few images of the kit and who to pre-order from.

MG OO Gundam Seven Sword /G - WIP 9

Skeleton anyone?

Since the completion of the head in the previous posting, it is time to assemble the inner frames and look at their articulation. What I always like to do is to arrange the parts to where they are suppose to go.

Scribblenauts Unmasked

Blind super heroes

Taking a break from shadowing the swords and other armour parts of the MG Seven Swords. During this break, I will be talking about this new thing I mentioned in the August loot. It is called Scribblenauts Unmasked. What is this? I had no idea it even existed until I saw it on the counter at Borders.

From what I can gather by looking at the box, it has a total of 11 different figures and there will be more of this coming out since this is considered as Series 1. There are 2 special figures and it is a blind choice. You cannot and do not know what figure you will be getting until you purchase and open the box. Since there are only 4 left, I decided to take a chance and get all 4 hoping there are no duplicates.

MG OO Gundam Seven Sword /G - WIP 8

The shadowing head

After reviewing all the weapons and different parts of the kit, it is time finish is off with the head. There are no gimmicks on the head unless you consider glowing eyes when the LEDs are on. As usual, the different parts of the head before assembly.

After fixing the mouth piece, I decided to paint the vent at the side silver. Hope this will be shown clearly when the entire head has been assembled.

After completing the head, I couldn't help but look at the head. I feel this is one of the nicest looking head I've built so far. It looks complex and futuristic. The only thing I didn't like was the 'ears'. Reminds me of elves from LOTR.
