From one small kit to another
Mentioned in the Gustav post, I was itching to start a new kit. Got this kit early this year and I will once again try hand painting the smaller details of the kit. As for the larger parts, it will be fully painted.
Let's start this kit off with the artwork on the box:
Top of the box
Sides of the box
The next thing to show are the runners:
Runner A
Runner B
Runner C
Runner K & E
Runner G & J
Waterslides
After confirming that all the parts and runners are present, they are then removed from the runners into their respective boxes.
Pieces stored in their respective boxes
The first order of work is to determine all the pieces which requires to be spray painted off-white...

...and Saga Green (which was used for the NG Zaku II).

Some masking are required for the parts for Saga Green because it consist of 2 different colors: Saga Green and Neutral Grey. Masking out the part which will require Neutral Grey with the normal masking tape since it is in bare plastic.

After masking and spraying, parts were left out to dry.

When the paint is dry, the masking is removed.

With all the parts which requires spray painting done, hand painting process will be start in the next post.
