Final post for painting
After the review of Blokees Transfromers, time to get back to work on the SD RX 78-2. Previously we completed the beam saber, red and painted the missing gray parts. This post will concentrate on the weapons.
Original plan was to use gun metal but used metal black instead. Must have reached out for that paint as I had it around the table since I was working on the Z-Knight.
Beam rifle comes in an orchid color
A quick round of paint and the painting is completed
Not only the painting but the paint brush as well. This is the make-up brush which could not withstand the thinner as it is all held together with glue

Some of the yellow went over the line so had to panel line and touched up with their respective colors

I am glad to announce that the beam rifle was the last section to be painted. Will be going back to work on the Z-Knight before assembling this kit.
