SD RX 78-2 - WIP 6 (Final)

Conclusion 

The previous posting covered all the assembly parts and screw-ups (on my part) for this kit. This post will be putting all the pieces together to form Voltron RX 78-2.

To conclude this review, below is a list of all the pros and cons and the conclusion of what I think about the kits according to my personal experience.

Conclusions:

This is a nice kit for beginners or kids who are dipping their toes into gunpla. It is an easy kit and most of the pieces are molded in their respective colors. The kit also comes with a lot of sticker markings on which make kit more complete.

The shield comes in a light purple color. Would have been better if it came in white and just apply the red and yellow sticker on it. Comes with the standard weapons; beam rifle and beam saber and an additional activated beam saber.

Pros:

+ Most pieces are molded in their respective color

+ Easy assembly

+ Has lots of sticker markings

Cons:

- The shield comes in a light purple color

Blokees Transformers Galaxy Version Wave 2 - Nemesis Prime & Inferno Review

 They can interlock

Mentioned in the Sharkticons post that I bought 2 more Blokees in hopes to get a blue and pink Sharkticon but that also translates to me getting additional 2 more blind boxes. Refer to Grimlock's post regarding the packaging and contents.

Opened both of the big sealed pack to have a look at what I got. In the first pack I saw there was red inside I was thrilled as I might have gotten Starscream but the more I looked into it, the more I realise it can't be Starscream as there was too many red parts. 

Any clue on what this might be?

Proceeded to open the next pack and there was purple inside. I know what this as there is only one model with purple for this wave.

Blokees Transformers Galaxy Version Wave 2 - Sharkticon Review

 What sharp teeth you have

Recently visited 99 Speedmart for another round of grocery shopping and had to try my luck for Starscream. As I was picking the boxes, I saw this sign which states there is a limited edition Sharkticon storage box for every purchase of the blind box so ended up with 2 instead of 1 in hopes to get a blue and pink Sharkticon.

After getting home and checking the box only to know that this is not a blind box but the color of the Sharkticon can be seen on the front of the box and at the back. I ended up getting 2 pink Sharkticon instead which is shame.

It is an easy assembly but need to be careful when assembling the teeth as they are sharp which accurately resembles a shark. Not much articulation for this kit except for the mouth which can be opened and the hands which can be moved up and down.

   

   

   

To conclude this review, below is a list of all the pros and cons and the conclusion of what I think about the Blokees Transformers Sharkticon according to my personal experience.

Conclusions:

This is a simple build but a good concept for storing the extra parts of the Blokees. Not much articulation to it but it does look good. A shame that I did not get the blue color but will try my luck again if they still have the promotion the next time I visit.

+ Simple build process

Cons:

- Has very sharp teeth
