HMM Z-Knight - WIP 1

Something Out Of The Ordinary

A short intermission from the progress work of the Shield Liger. Mentioned in the first WIP of Shield Liger that I will start working on this kit due to this post from another fellow model blogger. Started working on this kit on a weekend while waiting for the paint on Shield Liger's leg to dry. Will either paint the kit at night or in the morning before bed or work and leave it and by the time I have time to work on the kit, the paint has ample time to cure. Since it was a weekend and had no other plans, got a bit bored while waiting.

To be honest I do not know a lot about the Z-Knight line. Saw this in a hobby store many moons ago and since I love knights and this kind of resembles a knight, I picked it up. After searching the internet for more information about this line, apparently there were only 2 HMM model kits were released before production was cancelled. The other is the HMM Marine Kaizer which I hope to get my hands on sometime in the future to complete the collection.

[Runners]

Had to organize the runners for easier workflow when removing the parts

Not sure if can be seen in the photo above but the part for the eyes is ready painted in silver

Spare runner order form in case you want to get another kit or in an unfortunate event is missing an entire runner

Pieces removed and kept in their respective boxes. The bigger pieces of the weapons are kept in the plastic bag

The next step it to clean up the nib marks on the pieces as I am building the kit. Will follow the instruction and start with the head as it has one of the least number of pieces. As I was removing the pieces for the legs, I was afraid that the container would be too small as there are a lot of pieces. Will start the paint work of this kit in the post after the complete assembling of the D-Style Shield Liger.
